ORH will provide scholarships for 24 CHWs to become certified through NEON. This is a $1,500 value and will be at no cost to participating organizations.
To be eligible, CHW trainees must be employed at a hospital, clinic or local public health department in rural Oregon (“rural” as defined by FORHP and can be confirmed using the Am I Rural? Tool).
If your organization is eligible and would like to participate, please fill out this form. You can also learn more about this opportunity by visiting ORH's CHW website.
Once the form is submitted, ORH Rural Population Health Program Manager Stepha Dragoon will follow up to let folks know if they were selected to participate, and will provide instructions to enroll with NEON using ORH grant funds to pay for the cost of the training.
