Six leaders from five Oregon RHCs recently completed leadership training through the Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional (CRHCP) Course through the National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC). ORH sponsored all six participants with funds from the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility (Flex) Program and the State Office of Rural Health (SORH) grant.
The course is designed to educate participants on the fundamentals of the RHC program and provides an overview of the practices clinics should consider when evaluating whether the RHC model is suitable for them. It outlines the necessary steps for initiating the application and survey, as well as completing the final certification processes. Find more information about the course here.
