Biography
I’m the Program Director for the 博彩网站 Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Program and a staff psychiatrist for the Oregon Psychiatric Access Line for Adults (OPAL-A), a statewide consultation service for healthcare providers. I also have my own multi-state private practice focused on forensic psychiatry.
Except for a brief break, I spent nearly 15 years at the Oregon State Hospital, a 577-bed facility, where I served in various roles—first as an attending psychiatrist on a high-acuity unit, then as a Supervising Physician, and later as the Administrative Chief of the 博彩网站 Faculty Program. I’ve also worked as the Medical Director for Luke-Dorf, Inc. (now New Narrative), a mid-sized community mental health center in Portland.
In addition to my clinical work, I’m the Chair of the 博彩网站 Department of Psychiatry’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and co-Chair of our Grand Rounds Committee. I’ve had the honor of being elected twice as President of the Oregon Psychiatric Physicians Association and currently serve as an APA Assembly Representative while actively participating in the OPPA Legislative Committee.
