The 博彩网站 Ombuds Office offers a free, confidential and safe place to discuss issues you’re experiencing within your role at 博彩网站.  

We serve members of the 博彩网站 community, including faculty, staff, administrators, learners, post-doctoral fellows, residents, trainees and volunteers. This includes members at regional campus locations in Ashland, Bend, Klamath Falls, La Grande and Monmouth.

What we do

The ombudsperson, or ombuds, can help with many concerns. They act as a confidential, fair and neutral resource when you’re dealing with a problem at 博彩网站. They will listen without judgment and help you explore your options.

The ombuds works independently and is not affiliated with any department or entity. It is not a decision-making role and does not take a position in a conflict or dispute. The ombuds’ goal is to create an environment of balanced conflict resolution with a focus on healthy, equitable solutions.

How we can help

The ombuds can offer informal approaches to help resolve your concern.

The ombuds does:

  • Listen to concerns
  • Explain policies and procedures
  • Problem-solve and strategize
  • Facilitate communication between parties
  • Provide information about formal and informal grievance options
  • Make referrals

The ombuds does not:

  • Tell people what they should do
  • Take sides in a dispute
  • Determine guilt or innocence
  • Receive official "notice" for 博彩网站
  • Give legal advice or provide psychological counseling
  • Investigate, adjudicate or participate in formal grievance processes
